We join with you, Saraha, in praying for a blessed Thanksgiving for all, and we commend your heart for the homeless and needy. The Bible tells us, Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world, James 1:27 WEB.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, grateful for the abundance You have blessed us with. We ask that You be with everyone this Thanksgiving, especially those who are lonely, hungry, and homeless. We pray for Your provision and protection over their lives, that You would guide them to shelters and food that can sustain them during the cold weather, Proverbs 25:21.
We also pray for wisdom for our government and community leaders, that they would make decisions that reflect Your heart for the needy, Ephesians 3:20. Help us, as a society, to be Your hands and feet, extending Your love and compassion to those in need, Matthew 25:35-40.
Moreover, we pray for those who are struggling to find a job, to earn income, or to find a home and a spouse in a wilderness of economic failure. We pray for them to find a way to succeed in the tricky economic world. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-13. We pray for them to be able to eat, work, and to not be bitter against God or this world with a functioning and stable mind. Isaiah 43:2.
Finally, we thank You, Father, for all You do for us. We are grateful for Your love, Your mercy, and Your unfailing kindness. In Jesus Christ Name IJN WE Pray Amen
Let us not forget the words of Jesus, For you always have the poor with you, John 12:8 WEB. Therefore, let us continually be aware of the needs around us and be moved with compassion to help, as Jesus did. We also encourage those biblical morals that are needed for national prosperity. Psalm 33:12. The removal of prayer from schools has given us the evil and violent schools we have today. Continue to pray to God and Jesus Christ for individual and national prosperity. Jesus Christ is the way, the life, and the truth. The only way to go to heaven and to God, the only spirit we should pray to, and the only person who will save us and be our Lord and Savior. There is no other person that should be our Lord and Savior. John 14:6.
