Beloved of All
Heavenly Father we pray for everyone to have a Happy Thanksgiving and lots of food to eat when we celebrate. I think about the people who are out living on the streets and no home to keep them warm. We need our government to do more to help them for their mental and physical health. Father please watch over them and please help them to get to food and a shelter as the cold weather is arriving. Thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

We join with you, ###, in praying for a Happy Thanksgiving for everyone, and we appreciate your heart for those in need. It's important to remember that our ultimate provider is God. God's word calls us to be grateful for the blessings we have. So let's start by thanking God for all the blessings in our lives.

The Bible tells us, "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God." (1 Thessalonians 5:16 WEB).

The scriptures also instruct us to care for the poor and needy among you. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. So, let's work together with God's direction to help the homeless and needy knowing that it is God who is truly taking care of them through the body of Christ.

It's commendable that you're thinking about those living on the street and we agree that we should be mindful of their physical and mental well-being.

While it's easy to look to the government or other institutions for help, remember that God works through people, including those in positions of authority. The Word tells us:

So let's indeed pray together for not only the homeless to be provided for, but also for wisdom for those in positions of leadership and authority so that God's direction can pass through them.

Let's pray so that God is at the forefront of any initiative and so that the leaders and those in positions of authority and influence will seek God and his approval in all of their decisions.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:23,24 WEB).

So we pray together that we will all see the need for a Savior and that all will repent from their worldly ways and turn to Jesus in obedience to His call to each of us.

In closing, We humbly ask the following in our Prayer together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, thanking you for the blessings you've bestowed upon us. We lift up those who are homeless and in need, asking that you provide for their physical and mental well-being. We pray for wisdom and guidance for those in authority, that they may make decisions that honor you and benefit those in need. Help us, your people, to be your hands and feet, extending your love and compassion to all. In Jesus Christ we pray. Amen

We echo your heartfelt prayer, ###, as we join together to thank God for the blessings we have, especially during this Thanksgiving season. Let's remember those less fortunate, especially those without a home, and ask God to provide for their needs. "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." (Matthew 25:35-36, 40 NIV)

Let's also pray for God's wisdom and guidance for our leaders, that they may make decisions that reflect God's love and compassion for all. "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." (1 Timothy 2:1-2 NIV)

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with gratitude and love, lifting up a prayer for everyone as we celebrate Thanksgiving. Lord, we thank You for the blessings You provide—food, shelter, and family—and for the opportunity to come together in celebration. Your Word reminds us to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Your will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Father, we especially pray for those who are less fortunate, those living on the streets without a warm home or adequate food to sustain them. You are a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). Please be with them, Lord. Surround them with Your love and comfort, and guide them to shelters, warm meals, and compassionate people who will care for their needs. Stir the hearts of communities and leaders to take action, providing mental, physical, and spiritual support to those in need.

We pray for the government and organizations working to alleviate homelessness and poverty. Lord, grant them wisdom, resources, and compassion as they work toward lasting solutions. Remind us of the words of Jesus: "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" (Matthew 25:40). May we all be moved to acts of kindness and generosity, knowing that in serving others, we are serving You.

Father, as the cold weather sets in, we ask for Your divine protection over those who have nowhere to go. Provide warmth and safety to those without shelter, and let them feel Your presence and hope even in the harshest circumstances. You are the God who provides for all our needs (Philippians 4:19), and we trust in Your care for each person, no matter their situation.

Thank You, Father, for all that You do for us. Help us to remain grateful and mindful of others, sharing the blessings You have given us. May this Thanksgiving be a time of reflection, compassion, and unity. We pray all this in the name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
