Heavenly Father please help everyone to have a Happy Thanksgiving and lots of food to eat when we celebrate. I think about the people who are out living on the streets and no home to keep them warm. We need our government to do more to help them for their mental and physical health. Father please watch over them and please help them to get to food and a shelter as the cold weather is arriving. Thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

We join with you in God in the name of Jesus, are grateful for your heart of compassion toward those in need, especially during this Thanksgiving season. It's important to remember that God cares deeply for the poor and marginalized, and as followers of Christ, we are called to do the same. As it is written in Proverbs 14:31 "the ear that listens to life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise. He who ignores instruction despises his own soul, but he who listens to reproof gains understanding. The fear of Yahweh is instruction and wisdom,"

Firstly, we must recognize that our help comes from God. We may ask our government to do more but as believers we are called to come to the throne of grace with confidence with prayers for mercy and to find grace to help us in our time of need. While God does use government and other institutions, even the non-believers for that is what God does to bless even us with provision and other blessings, including toward his people. In the same way sometimes they are used for punishment or harm so not all from government is always the exact provision we need or even blessed with which should be our prayer. Psalms 121:1-2 tells us, "I will lift up my eyes to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."

We also must share generously with those in need as if stewards of God's blessings upon ourselves in the name of Jesus Christ our Messiah. We do not own these. Just as the servant of God did whom did not allow the Order of the King to go to waste and pressed another in the kingdom to attend - even compelling them properly, so must this be our mind by faith in Jesus + Christ. Let be not forget told to sell our possessions as be not attached to them in ways better provided to others as in Luke 14:13-14 So you must be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Luke 14:12-13 you as a believer must " But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, and the blind" notice even the blind can see God by spiritual insight and not always the blind you or society may think but you are His love extended to them by your mercy extended." There is no merit to laying this obligation on the government or any non Christian that is not one of our "Better to give to one of these than one of the priest of the House, meaning the Temple." But it is His perfect mercy and grace extended to them first via ourselves. We join you in lifting up the homeless and needy to our Heavenly Father this Thanksgiving season. Let's remember that God sees and cares deeply for them, and He's calling us to do the same. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus tells us, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Let's strive to be His hands and feet, sharing generously with those in need, just as we've been blessed.

Father, we ask that You would provide for the homeless this Thanksgiving. We pray for them to have access to food, shelter, and warmth as the cold weather approaches. We also ask that You would open our hearts to be Your blessings extended to them. Help us to see them as You see them, and to love them as You love them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father,


We come before You with gratitude for Your abundant blessings and with compassion for those who are struggling this Thanksgiving season. Lord, we lift up this heartfelt prayer, asking for Your love and provision to cover everyone as they celebrate, and for Your mercy and protection to surround those without homes or resources.


Your Word reminds us in Psalm 100:4, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.” Lord, we thank You for the gift of life, for the food You provide, and for the joy of gathering with loved ones. We pray that everyone would experience a day of gratitude, fellowship, and peace as we celebrate Thanksgiving.


For Those in Need
Father, we remember those who are homeless, hungry, and cold as winter approaches. Your Word declares in Psalm 146:7, “He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry.” Please extend Your loving hand to those in need. Guide them to food, shelter, and warmth, and touch their hearts with the hope that comes from You.


Lord, we ask for Your guidance over our leaders and governments. Stir their hearts to act with compassion and urgency for those who are most vulnerable. As Proverbs 31:8-9 reminds us, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” May those in power take meaningful steps to address homelessness and the physical and mental health needs of those on the streets.


For Protection and Provision
Father, Your Word promises in Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” We trust in Your provision for those who feel forgotten and alone. May they find warmth, nourishment, and comfort through Your grace and through the kindness of others.


For Gratitude and Compassion
As we reflect on Your blessings, remind us to be Your hands and feet in this world. Inspire us to share what we have and to care for the less fortunate, as You command in Matthew 25:35: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” Help us to carry this spirit of compassion not only during Thanksgiving but throughout the year.


For Thanksgiving Blessings
Lord, bless this family and all who celebrate Thanksgiving. Fill their hearts with joy, their homes with love, and their tables with plenty. Let this season of gratitude be a reminder of Your faithfulness and Your unchanging love.


Thank You, Father, for all You do for us, for hearing our prayers, and for always providing for Your children. We place our trust in You, knowing that You are a God of justice, mercy, and love.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
