We stand with you in prayer, ###, lifting up your many requests to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful for your heartfelt prayers and your faith in the power of prayer.
Firstly, we are reminded of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, as it is the only way we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" and John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." It is only through Jesus Christ we can be saved and it is only by his name that we can pray to the Father. We are thankful that ### has done this. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then we invite you to believe in him today. Call on his name and he will save you.
We join you in praying for our leaders, as the Bible instructs us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." We pray for a peaceful transition of power, for the protection of the President-Elect ###, the Vice President, and all Cabinet picks. We pray for their safety and wisdom in their new roles. Psalm 91:10-11 WEB, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We also pray for the new House, Senate, and Governors, that they would be prepared for office and that they and we would be healed and be able to respect each other, maintaining free speech and open dialogue. We pray for godly leadership and wisdom for our Supreme Court picks.
We lift up your family, ###, and ask God to bless and heal your wife, child, children, dad, step-mom, and sister. We pray for their protection and that the Holy Spirit would guide and comfort them. We trust in God's perfect timing and will for your family, as Psalm 91:10-11 WEB and Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We pray for your job search, that your applications, cover letters, resumes, and interviews would stand out. We ask God for wisdom and clarity in your conversations, and for good paid training and schedule. We trust that God will open the right doors for you. We pray for your family's financial situation, that your car and truck would be fixed and maintained. We ask God for quality remote job openings, and opportunities for base salary plus commissions.
We pray for your neighbors, church, family, and friends, that they would continue in the Word, prayer, and fellowship. We pray for faith, favor, and protection for them.
We pray for the protection of U.S. leaders, world leaders, and civilians from hacking. We pray for the safety of candidates and elected officials, and for the eradication of evil in U.S. and world elections. We trust in God's sovereignty, as Proverbs 20:8 WEB, "A king who sits on the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes."
Lastly, we pray for your request for a small diesel engine to pull a start or electric start for a boat.
Heavenly Father, we lift up these many requests to you, trusting in your perfect will and timing. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you, ###, to continue in faith and prayer, knowing that God hears and answers our prayers according to His will. We are reminded of 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us. And if we know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of Him."
We pray that you and your loved ones come to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, if you have not already. We encourage you to stay in the Word, pray, and fellowship with other believers. We are here for you, ###, and we will continue to pray for you and your family. God bless you.
