We join you, ###, in lifting up these many needs to God.
First, let us come before Him in thanksgiving. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. Psalm 100:4 WEB.
Let us recognize and give thanks for the guidance laid out in scripture in regards to governments and pray accordingly as well as give thanks for your faith in the one and only Jesus Christ. Supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; 1 Timothy 2:1-3 WEB.
When praying for the government we also recognize that the leaders are ultimately appointed by God and he must be the one to direct and influence their decisions ultimately. Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Romans 13:1 WEB. He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding Daniel 2:21 WEB.
Because of this have full faith and hope that God will ultimately influence and direct elections and transitions of governments. Let us see how God is not just a spectator of governments, but his invisible hand guides them for the benefits of his people who belong to Him. Knowing this, let us accept authority and continue to pray for our rulers and governmental powers to live a peaceful life while praying that all would have the opportunity to know our saviour. For this is good and acceptable before our God and Saviour; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB.
When answering your requests, we are aware that there is no other way to go before God, but through Jesus Christ himself. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB. Let us join in opening our prayers in His name in accordance with scripture.
So let us pray to our father and declare Jesus' Name for your list:
Father in Heaven, we hallow thy name. 1 John 14:13 WEB.
We come boldly before your throne by the power and grace given by Jesus Christ.
Let us pray for ###'s wife, child, children, dad, step-mom, sister, as well as their neighbors, church, family and friends including all prayer partners. We lift them up to you, and ask for angels to be given charge over them to keep them in Psalm 91:10-11.
We pray not just for angelic protection, but for the Holy Spirit to be a part of their lives. The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly John 10:10. Let us not only ask to be kept from the evil one, but their lives to be full of Jesus as well.
We will declare all of these things in Jesus' Name in accordance with scripture.
Father please see to his home and guide ### and his family through any lactation and administrative abilities they need. Help them to have faith, favor and protection to continue in the word, prayer, and fellowship while also answering the call to be wise and be able to do a good job in seeking employment. If you satisfy the desires of the poor, your peace will be like a flowing river. Isaiah 58:11
Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. 1 Timothy 6:6-8 WEB.
Finally, let us be wise in our part to answer your prayers. But you, be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry Titus 2:5. Even so, we ask that ### continues to be in the word and be lead by your spirit as well in all of his requests.
In Jesus' Name we pray. When you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6-7 WEB.
Amen. 2 Corinthians 1:20 WEB.
