Nochaeld, thank you for your heartfelt prayer request that addresses important aspects of life and godly governance. We stand with you in praying Second Corinthians 1:20: "For all the promises of God in him are Yes, and in him Amen, to the glory of God through us."
We turn to God, the giver of grace, and pray for national issues, government leaders and establishments. We are thankful to God for kings and all in authority, as it allows us to live a peaceful life in godliness and honor. Let us remember First Timothy 2:1-2: "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
We need to praise the name of Jesus Christ, and believe that He is the one that will bring about change and protection. He desires that we pray and hold one another up in prayer. We should give thanks for the freedom we have to worship, pray, and live according to our faith. Jesus said in John 14:13: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." This must be done in the name of Jesus, and the key is "In Jesus Name." Also see John 16:24.
For the President Elect, VP, cabinet, transition of power, and government officials, we pray for God's protection and wisdom. The new administrations and elected officials need discernment, knowledge, and understanding to lead with godliness. We pray for the Supreme Court, that they would make decisions in accordance with biblical principles.
Psalm 91:10-11 reassures us of the protection of angels, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We pray in Jesus' name for the Forty-Fifth President of the United Kingdom, ###; for the Vice President as well as the appointed or elected officials, Psalm 100:4, Psalm 91:10-11, Titus 1:11, Proverbs 20:8, John 14:13, and Isaiah 33:15 are the Bible verses we must pray for these elected officials and government representatives. Reciting the Lord's Prayer places a special blessing on these officers.
Thank God for a smoothly operating House, Senate, Governors, and transition of power, making preparations for their new roles. May God grant protection and wisdom to leaders as they prepare for public service. Also make a prayer asking for forgiveness of our debts and trespasses before God. For surely Jesus instructed his disciples in the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen." We need to ask God saying specifically in Gratefulness of this prayer: "Thank you, we forgive our debtors."
Nochaeld, we also lift up your personal and family needs. We pray for blessings on your time in the Word, prayer, and intercession. We know that Matthew 6:33: "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Bless your wife and children with healing, Psalm 91:10-11, and Roman 8:28, which promises, "We know that all things work together for good for those who trust, for those who are called according to his purpose."
We pray for guidance during life transitions, job searches, and maintenance. k those issues for the good of His purpose and timing. For all your mechanical and monetary needs, we pray for a good supply of every good work as well. Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus name, our Lord and Savior, lifting up ###'s requests. We pray for our leaders, our nation, and all those in authority. Grant them wisdom, protection, and a heart that seeks You. We thank our Lord Jesus Christ, but also pray for ###'s healing needs, wisdom on life's stages of lactation, administrative needs, as well as his job search need. We also pray for a sturdy vehicle, finances, and other possessions he and his family need."
Our group joins with you in prayer. Our country must strive to bring our heavenly father to the throne and go to our knees so that all things may go forward according to His will and that they be done righteousness Jesus' Name. Praise God and amen!
