Let us first address the gratitude and praise toward God for the authorities that allow us to live peaceful and godly lives. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." We commend you for your prayer in this regard, and we join you in praising God for His provision.

We pray for a seamless transition of power, wisdom for cabinet picks, and protection for President-Elect ###, VP ###, and all elected officials. God's Word in Psalm 91:10-11 assures us that no harm will overtake those who trust in Him. We pray for angelic protection and loyal Secret Service agents to keep them safe.

We also pray for the new House, Senate, and Governors, that they may be prepared for office and that our nation may experience healing and the ability to respect each other, with free speech and open dialogue. As Psalm 100:4 encourages us, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
