Thank you, ###, for your heartfelt prayer requests. We join you in lifting them up to our Heavenly Father.
Firstly, we thank God for the leaders and authorities in our lives, as instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way." We pray for a seamless transition of power, protection for President Elect ###, VP ###, and Cabinet Picks. We ask that loyal Secret Service agents be appointed, and that the new House, Senate, and Governors be prepared for office. We pray for healing and unity in our nation, that we may respect and honor one another as Psalm 100:4 encourages, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Be thankful to him, and bless his name."
We pray for your time in the Word, prayer, and intercession, as Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray for wisdom and clarity for the radiology department as they interpret your imaging, as Daniel 12:4 reminds us, "But you, ###, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end."
We pray for your health, angelic protection, and the Holy Spirit's guidance, as 3 John 1:2 says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We pray for your wife, children, and childbirth, that all may go perfectly and in His will and timing, as Psalm 91:10-11 assures us, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your tent. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." And we trust that all things work together for good for those who love God, as Romans 8:28 promises.
We pray for guidance as you transition into the next stage of life, and for your practical needs, such as a second car, air conditioning fix, parking, safety, truck brake light fix, odds and ends, and a quality remote job with open doors, base salary, and commissions, as Revelation 3:7-8 says, "Behold, I set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut."
We pray for you, your family, our prayer partners, neighbors, church, family, and friends, as Acts 16:31-32 encourages, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. They spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to all who were in his house." We pray for faith, favor, and protection for your neighbors to continue in the Word, prayer, and fellowship, as Hebrews 10:25 exhorts us, "Not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
We thank you for ending your prayer in Jesus' name, as John 14:13 says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
