We join with you, ###, in thanksgiving and prayer, seeking God's will according to His Word.
Firstly, we thank God for the peaceful election and pray for a seamless transition of power. As the Scripture says, "For kingship belongs to Yahweh. He rules the nations." (Psalm 22:28 WEB) We pray for the protection of the President Elect and all candidates, that God would surround them with loyal Secret Service agents. We ask that the voting for the Senate and House be fair and without injustice, remembering that "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." (Proverbs 11:1 WEB) We pray for healing where there has been division, as our Lord Jesus prayed, "that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me." (John 17:21 WEB)
We pray for blessings on your time in the Word, prayer, and intercession, as Jesus taught us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB) We pray for good health, angelic protection, and the Holy Spirit's guidance for you, your wife, and your children. May Psalm 91:10-11 be a reality for your family, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We pray for quality remote job opportunities to open up for you, remembering God's promise in Revelation 3:8, "Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut..." We ask for wisdom, technical skill, and clarity in your job search, interviews, and conversations. We pray that your résumés and cover letters stand out, and that you have a steady internet connection for your endeavors.
We lift up your neighbors, church, friends, and all our prayer partners, that we would all be faithful to the Lord, as Acts 16:31-32 encourages, "They said, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.' They spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to all who were in his house." We pray for faith, favor, and protection for your neighbors to continue in the Word, prayer, and fellowship.
Lastly, we pray for the safety and protection of candidates and elected officials, and for the eradication of evil in U.S. and world elections. We remember the promise in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places..."
We end this prayer in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, as He said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." (John 14:13 WEB) Amen.
May you be encouraged by these words, and may God's peace and guidance be with you and your family.
