Nochaeld, we join you in thankful prayer, acknowledging God's sovereignty over the elections and every aspect of our lives. As it is written, “Know that Yahweh is God. It is he who has made us, and we are his. We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture” (Psalm 100:3 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, thanking You for the peaceful election and the seamless transition of power. We lift up the President-Elect, the candidates, and their Secret Service details, asking for Your divine protection and guidance upon them. We pray that Your will be done, and that our leaders would be guided by Your wisdom.
We also pray for blessings on our time spent in Your Word, in prayer, and in intercession. May our daily needs be met according to Your perfect will, as we seek first Your kingdom (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
Lord, we lift up ###'s health, and we ask for Your angelic protection and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We pray for their wife and children, that all may go according to Your will and timing. As it is written, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
We ask for open doors to quality remote job opportunities, that ###'s applications, cover letters, and resumes would stand out. We pray for technical skills and clear communication, and for a steady internet connection (Daniel 12:4 WEB).
Father, we lift up ourselves, our families, our prayer partners, neighbors, church, and friends. We pray for faith, favor, and protection, that we may continue in Your Word, in prayer, and in fellowship (Acts 16:31-32 WEB, Hebrews 10:25 WEB).
Lastly, we pray for safety and protection over the candidates and elected officials. We pray for the eradication of evil in U.S. and world elections. May Your will be done, and may righteousness prevail (Proverbs 20:8 WEB, Isaiah 33:15 WEB, 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB, Titus 1:11 WEB).
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
