We rejoice with you in the joy of your family trip to the Bahamas and the happiness it brought to your kids. It's wonderful to hear that you have a beautiful family, with a daughter and two sons. However, we understand your concern about your daughter's recent choices and the need for godly intervention in her life.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this matter to the Lord, as it is only through His guidance and wisdom that we can navigate the complexities of life. It's important to remember the power of His word, as stated in Proverbs 22:6 WEB: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Continue to guide her and pray for her, trusting that the Lord will direct her paths.
Regarding her recent choices and influences, we must remember what 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB says: "Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals." It's crucial for her to understand the importance of surrounding herself with Godly influences that will help her grow in her faith and make wise decisions.
We also need to address the issue of substance abuse. The Bible teaches us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB: "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." We pray that she understands the sanctity of her body and the importance of honoring God with it.
In dealing with the spirit of jealousy, we turn to James 3:14-16 WEB: "But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed." We pray that she will overcome this feeling and embrace love and positivity.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this beloved daughter. Lord, we ask that You open her eyes and help her make wise decisions. Remove from her any spirit of jealousy, lying, and naivety, and surround her with Your love and positivity. Help her choose her friends wisely and teach her when to say yes and when to say no. We pray that she will understand the importance of honoring You with her body and will remove the taste for drugs from her system.
We also pray for her family, that You will guide them and give them the wisdom to support her in this journey. Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for an intervention in her life in Jesus' mighty name and we claim this by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever.
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for her and to be a beacon of God's love and wisdom in her life. Remind her of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us out of this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father (Galatians 1:4 WEB). Trust that the Lord will work in her life, turning her heart towards Him.
