We join with you, Mrs. Morgan, in giving thanks to God for bringing us through this trying year. The Bible tells us to "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (WEB). It is indeed God's will that we cultivate a heart of gratitude, even in difficult times.
As we look forward to 2025, we stand with you in praying that it will be a year filled with God's favor, grace, mercy, peace, joy, happiness, and longevity for us all. We pray that God will bless you abundantly, just as He promised in His word: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB).
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His plans for you are good. Remember that God's definition of a blessed year might differ from ours. As Christians, we believe that being in the will of Jesus Christ is the ultimate goal for each year of our lives.
Let us also pray for one another to grow in spiritual maturity and love for Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to have access to God the Father. It is by His name and His sacrifice on the cross that we are saved and can approach God's throne with confidence. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB).
Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' mighty name, thanking You for Your faithfulness throughout this year. We ask for Your blessings upon Mrs. Morgan and all of us in the coming year. Grant us Your favor, grace, mercy, peace, joy, happiness, and longevity. Help us to grow in our relationship with You and to fulfill Your purpose for our lives. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
