Nochaeld, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and interceding for the many issues you've brought before us. We commend you for your fervent prayers and we join you in supplication. Let us first address the core of our beliefs, as we are called to pray, and that is our confession of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. As it is written:
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matt 28:18-20
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phil. 2:9-11
And be it known, we pray in His name because:
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Tim. 2:5
And it is only by believing in His name we have access:
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. Rom. 2:12-13
And only Jesus' blood saves:
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor. 15:1-4
We thank you for recognizing the importance of praying for our leaders and those in authority, as scripture commands us:
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim. 2:1-4
We pray for a peaceful transition of power, for the protection of the President Elect ###, the Vice President, and all Cabinet picks. We ask that You, Lord, grant them loyal Secret Service agents and provide them with angelic protection. Prepare the new House, Senate, and Governors for office and grant our nation healing and the ability to respect each other, maintain free speech, and open dialogue with false truths and malice.
We ask:
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, For kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 1 Tim. 2:1-2
We ask for the best of leadership, including in the Supreme Court:
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Ps. 100:4
And we stay away from evil things:
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Eph. 5:11
And pray and admit our mistakes:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
For better job paying opportunities:
And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.Isa. 6:8
We are so thankful that you have acknowledged the power of prayer and studying the Bible but sadly did not notice anywhere in your request a mention of IJN or Jesus' Name.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14
We join you in asking that the Lord send an angel to encamp around your family to deliver and protect them and as you lean not on your own understanding He will direct your paths in the next phase of life. For health and divine intervention, and all the different requests you have mentioned in our prayer times together. We do this all in Jesus' holy name. Amen.
REBUKING:
We also need to consider, is the ### presidency a sign of godliness or of something else?
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: Rom. 13:1-3
What was the nation's moral compass before ### was in office? Were we worshiping God and carefully fulfilling Deuteronomy 28? Since we know our nation was disobedient to God in many ways we know we are receiving His curse on a disobedient nation as the consequences and we should not be following any leaders back to Egypt as they will not be able to protect us from the curses His righteousness have caused.
And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee,
Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. Deut. 28:68
While we pray leaders repent we are simply reminded, Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: Ps.146:3-5
And we do this always In Jesus' Name.
