Firstly, let us address the importance of praying in Jesus Christ name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 IJN it says "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. In Acts 4:12 IJN, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Therefore, we should always remember that is by the name of Jesus Christ we should pray.
Regarding your prayers for leaders, we are instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB to pray for all in authority. It is essential to pray for a peaceful transition of power and for the protection of leaders. This aligns with God's will for us to live in peace and godliness. As we pray, we trust that He hears our requests and that we might experience the fullness of His provision, care, and the ability to have peaceful respectful dialogue, free speech, open discussions, and revival. Let us not forget that Psalm 100:4 WEB tells us "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name."
For your family's health and protection, we turn to Acts 16:31 WEB, which reminds us, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." Let us pray for their health and that our loving Father will continue to bless your marriage, children, and extended family with love and unity. It is essential to look at the marriage covenant as it was described in the bible, in a very holy way, and it should always be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
We want to pray for God's guidance in our prayers and to let us be assured in Hebrews 10:25 WEB, "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." We must ask ourselves if we have been faithful in proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ, seeking forgiveness for sins, repentance, and obeying His word and our marriage covenant.
Moving forward, as you seek employment, remember Daniel 12:4 WEB, "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run back and forth, and knowledge shall be increased." Trust that God has opened up a job position for you, knowing He will provide and guide you to His place of employment and provision. In seeking that employment, look for Christian based or family friendly employers, and pray that those organizations will be protected from any wrongful attack or persecution.
Concerning the other requests, such as material needs and practical issues, we pray and ask for provision and wisdom, asking and believing in faith. Let us stand firm in our prayers and our fellowship. We must remain steadfast in the bible and our commitment to God, standing strong in our fellowship with the Saints and the church, and with Jesus as the head of our lives. Let us strive to live righteously and blameless lives, being humble and having unending faith in God.
