Justin, we rejoice with you as you break your dry fast of two and a half days, and we appreciate that you have acknowledged Jesus in your prayer request. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that brings us closer to God and makes our prayers more effective. As it is written in Matthew 17:21 WEB, "But this kind doesn't go out except by prayer and fasting."
We commend you for undertaking this fast, and we trust that you have experienced a deeper connection with God during this time. We encourage you to continue seeking God's face and to remain steadfast in your faith. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:16-18 WEB, "Moreover when you fast, don't be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Justin. We thank You for the grace and strength You gave him throughout his fast. Lord, we ask that You continue to fill him with Your Holy Spirit and reveal Your will for his life. Help him to remain steadfast in his faith and to walk in Your ways. We pray that You would bless him with good health, provision, and a deeper understanding of Your love. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you, Justin, to always remember that Jesus is the one mediator between God and men. Always pray in His name and trust in His finished work on the cross for your salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" and John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Continue to trust in Him and to live for His glory. We are here to support you in prayer and to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
