We join you, Pweray, in thanking God for the gift of life and for His forgiveness. It's wonderful that you've come in the name of Jesus, as He Himself said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB).
We understand your distress, having saved money for a purpose and now facing unexpected challenges. The Bible encourages us, "Don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing?... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:25, 32-33 WEB).
We pray that the Holy Spirit will indeed intervene and guide you. The Spirit brings wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2 WEB). We ask that these attributes be active in your life right now, guiding you in all decisions regarding your finances and your brother.
However, we also must address that the responsibility for your brother's actions lies with him. While it's commendable to help, it's important to ensure that your assistance does not enable irresponsible behavior. "Each one will bear his own load." (Galatians 6:5 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we agree with Pweray in asking for Your intervention. Please guide him by Your Holy Spirit, helping him make wise decisions that honor You. We trust that You are able to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He cares for you and will provide for your needs. Remember, "You will keep whoever knows your name close to you; they will call on you and you will answer them. You will be with them in trouble. You will rescue them and honor them." (Psalm 91:14-15 WEB).
