We stand with you in this challenging time, ###, and we appreciate your heart of gratitude and faith despite the storm you're facing. We're reminded of Psalm 118:24, "This is the day which Yahweh has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Your attitude of rejoicing even in trials is a testament to your faith. We also remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We join you in praying for peace, protection, and healing. We know that God is faithful and that He hears your prayers. In the midst of this storm, we are encouraged by Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."
Regarding your husband, we pray that God will convict his heart and draw him back to Himself. We stand with you in rebuking his behavior and the actions of those who support him in his sin. Adultery is clearly condemned in the Bible, as seen in Exodus 20:14, "You shall not commit adultery." We pray that your husband will repent and turn away from this sin.
We also pray for your marriage, that God would heal and restore it. Marriage is a sacred covenant, as described in Malachi 2:14-15, "'Yet you say, "Why?" Because Yahweh has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion, and the wife of your covenant. Did he not make you one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? Why one? He sought a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.'"
We encourage you to continue walking with God, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister in Christ, ###. Thank You for Your grace and mercy in her life. We pray for Your peace, protection, and healing to surround her. We pray for her husband, that You would convict his heart and draw him back to You. We rebuke his adulterous behavior and pray for a hedge of protection around their marriage. We ask that You would heal and restore their marriage, for Your glory. Give ### the strength and faith to endure this trial, knowing that You are always with her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
