Sparklee, we join you in lifting up your needs and praises to our loving Father. We are thankful for your real relationship with the Lord and we stand with you in casting all your burdens on Him, knowing that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). We will pray regarding the issues you raised. You did well praising God for what He has done and is doing for you. We have to always keep in mind that His answers to our requests will always be in accordance to His will and not necessarily what we think is best.
Regarding your health concerns, we pray for God's healing touch. Remember that God is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26, WEB). We pray for wisdom on handling the individual health concerns you mentioned and those described as trials. We also pray for God's guidance to help deal with anger and depression in a godly way. We pray that God may grant a peaceful approach for maintaining JM's typical daily activities in order to minimize heart palpitations.
We also cast our burdens on God for JT, ECLF, NP, and SB, when they are facing their trials of unknown specificity at the moment. Our heartfelt desire is that God will deliver them and they may find comfort in drawing closer to the Lord at this time. You did well to pray for the salvation of others and acknowledge that all praise and credit goes to God. Be alert to any opportunities sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and encouraging others to have a closer relationship to our Lord.
We pray for God's favor in your tasks. May He guide your words and grant you wisdom to complete your duties and commitments successfully and for the way forward to be clear (Psalm 37:23, WEB). We pray that God will strengthen you and propel you toward excellence in all you do, delivering you from all evil (Matthew 6:13, WEB). May He help you manage your life as appropriate and be able to complete all of the obligations you have that are appropriate.
For your prayer request on the increase of tithes and offerings. We need to be mindful but not of selfish influence. If we have the proper humble and righteous attitude toward giving, then it is appropriate to ask that we would have the capability of giving. It is when we are looking for our own selfish interests, that we are not obeying biblical principles. We must remember that as we are generous and give cheerfully, God will consider it as seed for sowing (2 Corinthians 9:6-10 WEB). We understand that the tithes are not lawful for a Christian to give to our Church even after the biblical number of 10%. We could however consider tithing the appropriate amount to give and for offerings to be an amount people want to give above the 10% of their income, in accordance to the Holy Spirit. This is to understand it is God who gives us the strength to gain wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB). However, we must also be mindful that we do not give unto men what belongs to God (Mark 12:17 WEB).
We stand with you in praying for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6, WEB). We pray for God's intervention, protection, and rescue of the innocents in this nation and around the world, including in Damscus/Syria. May He comfort and heal all who are hurting, and may He intervene in the lives of persecuted Christians everywhere. We pray that our brother and sisters in Christ find the peace of God while in the midst of misfortune (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Remember they may be facing temptations that hope to draw their faith away.
Sparklee, let us also remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved and only His name provides salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 10:13 WEB).
We leave you with these encouraging words from Romans 8:26-28 (WEB):
"In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
May you continue to trust in God's answers. Now let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sparklee and their requests. We thank You for Your love and the real relationship You have with Sparklee. Lord, we cast all our burdens on You and trust in Your answers.
We pray for Your healing touch on JM's heart palpitations and wisdom for them to deal with anger and depression. We pray for Your deliverance and comfort for SB, NP, JT, MB, ECLF, and all who are facing trials. And to have assistance in their salvation. We pray for Your favor and guidance in all our tasks, that our words may be pleasing to You and that our efforts may be successful.
Lord, we pray trusting Your judgement if it is in Your will that there would be an increase of tithes and offerings. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for Your intervention and protection for the innocents in Israel, Damascus, Syria, and everywhere. We pray for the comfort and healing of all who are hurting, and for Your intervention in the lives of persecuted Christians everywhere. We pray for your protection from temptation that will draw faith away from you.
In all these things, we pray that Your will be done.
Father, we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
