We stand with you, JesusourLordandSavior, in your prayer for deliverance and forgiveness. Let us come together and approach the throne of grace with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 reminds us, "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we rejoice in your declaration of love for our Lord Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to see your faith and devotion expressed so beautifully. As Jesus said in John 14:21, "One who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him."
In your prayer, you seek deliverance from evil attacks. We stand with you, claiming the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has given us authority according to Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, seeking deliverance for our dear brother/sister. We ask that You protect them from all evil attacks and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 promises. We rebuke the enemy and his schemes, claiming the victory that Jesus won on the cross.
You also seek forgiveness from our Lord Jesus. We are reminded of 1 John 1:9, which tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let us pray:
Lord Jesus, we ask for Your forgiveness for our brother/sister. They have confessed their sins before You, and we claim the promise of Your faithfulness and righteousness to forgive and cleanse. Help them to walk in Your light, as You promised in 1 John 1:7, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, as there is power in His name. As Acts 4:12 proclaims, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved.
Let us continue to pray together, seeking God's will in all things, and growing in our love for our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
