We are grateful to hear that you returned home safe and that your journey went smoothly. We give thanks to God for His protection and guidance. We are also thankful that despite your loose motion in the morning, you did not encounter any problems on the way. We trust that God is always by your side, even in the midst of physical discomfort.
Regarding your feelings of emptiness and lack of joy this morning, we want to remind you that our joy and peace come from the Lord. In John 15:11 WEB, Jesus says, I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full. True joy is found in Him, and it is a fruit of the Spirit as mentioned in Galatians 5:22 WEB, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is feeling low and empty this morning. We pray that You fill him with Your peace and happiness that surpasses all understanding. We confess that this is only found in a relationship with You Lord. In we pray that You remind him of Your love and faithfulness, and that Your joy may be his strength. Help him to trust in You and to cast all his cares upon You, for You care for him as mentioned in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
We also pray for his physical health, that You continue to strengthen him and heal him from any discomfort.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God's presence, reading His Word, and communicating with Him in prayer. Remember that He is always with you, and that His love for you is unfailing. Psalm 16:11 WEB says, You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
Stand firm in your faith and continue to trust in the Lord. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
