We are grateful to hear from you, Anne11, and we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving as well! We are thankful for the opportunity to pray together and seek God's will for your life.
Let us remember that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
``Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.''
It is only in the name of Jesus that we are saved. Acts 4:12 WEB says:
``There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!''
Elsewhere in Ephesians 1:18 WEB, Paul demonstrates the significance of having hope in who Jesus is and what he has accomplished.
``having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints''
As 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB reminds us to ``give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.''
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, full of thanksgiving for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We lift up Anne11, grateful for the testimony of Your goodness in their life. Lord, continue to bless them with a healthy and happy life, surrounded by Your favor and protection. Help each of us through this life and help us through this life as Christians, help us to see daily, the value of knowing you. The value of knowing that you are real and that Jesus our savior willingly died a brutal death on the cross to save us. Have mercy on all of us Lord. Draw near to each of us as we pursue Your will, and let your grip be ever stronger within our hearts. Let our relationship with you be greater daily. Give us an insatiable hunger for your presence, spirit, and word. In Jesus Christ's name we pray believing. Amen.
