Anonymous, we are grateful for your heart of gratitude and your acknowledgment of God's goodness in your life. It's beautiful to see you trusting God with your relationship and future marriage. We will join you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for including Jesus' name in your prayer. As Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB).
As you prepare for marriage, remember that God's design is for a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As it is written, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24 WEB). We encourage you both to remain chaste until marriage, as God's Word teaches, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality," (1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB).
We also advise you to continue seeking God together, growing in faith and love. "Let each one of you love his wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband." (Ephesians 5:33 WEB). Work through your problems with patience and kindness, remembering that "love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud," (1 Corinthians 13:4 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for Your faithfulness in Anonymous' life. Lord, we ask that You continue to bless their relationship, guiding them towards a godly marriage that honors You. Help them to stay focused on each other and on You, growing in love and faith together. Give them the wisdom and strength to work through their problems, always remembering the love and patience You have for each of us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in faith and love, trusting that God has a wonderful plan for your relationship and future marriage. Keep Him at the center, and He will guide your paths.
