We come before You today, lifting up Jimmy Obregon as he prepares to undergo heart transplant surgery. We thank You, Lord, for the gift of life and for the match that has been found for Jimmy. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons and the entire medical team, granting them wisdom, skill, and steadiness throughout the procedure.
We pray for Jimmy's body to accept the new heart with minimal complications, and for a swift and full recovery. Comfort him and his loved ones during this time, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your presence be felt in the operating room and in the hearts of all those involved.
Finally, Lord, we ask that this entire journey be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness. May Jimmy's story bring hope to others and draw many closer to You. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
