Let us first ground our prayers in the Word of God. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is crucial to rely on God's wisdom and guidance, especially in significant decisions like this.
We also find encouragement in Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." As you pursue this role, remember that your ultimate service is to the Lord, and He will reward your faithfulness.

*Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up DonnaT. We thank You for her heart to serve and help youth in need. We pray that Your will be done regarding the Youth Treatment Specialist position she applied for. If it is Your desire for her to have this job, we ask that You open the doors and make her interviewers favorable towards her. We pray that she will be a beacon of Your light and love to the children she works with, and that many will come to know You through her witness.*
*Lord, we also ask that You prepare DonnaT for the challenges that come with this role. Strengthen her spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Surround her with a supportive community and grant her wisdom and discernment as she helps these youth navigate their struggles. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
