So so sorry. I meant SonWe rejoice with you, dear anonymous, in your gratitude towards God and Jesus. It's wonderful to see your heart filled with thanksgiving. As the Scripture reminds us, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB).
However, we noticed that you referred to your significant other as "som," which we assume to mean "someone" or a romantic partner. We would like to encourage and remind you of the biblical principles regarding relationships. The Bible teaches us that God's design for romantic relationships is between a man and a woman, ultimately leading to a holy and lifelong commitment in marriage. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24 WEB).
If you are not already married, we pray that God will guide your relationship and give you both the wisdom to honor Him in your courtship. We also encourage you to seek a godly spouse who shares your faith and love for Jesus Christ. Remember, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).
We also noticed that you did not specifically mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as He is the mediator between us and God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved and have access to God's presence. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the grateful heart of our dear friend. Lord, we ask that You guide their relationship, that it may honor and glorify You. If they are not already married, we pray that You will lead them to a godly spouse and bless their union. Help them to grow in faith and love for You, and to seek Your will in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We hope this encourages and blesses you in your walk with Christ. Keep trusting in Him and seeking His will for your life.
