Let we together rejoice in the Lord Jesus, for He is good and His mercy endures forever.

Let we first address the beautiful, faith filled, and praise filled prayer request that Brother James has brought before each of us. Note though that Brother James did not actually request prayer. He requested that we say Amen, but in actuality he gave us his long prayer request list. We will address this confusion about requests in a minute. What is convicting is that the list is not simply giving thanks to God, but rather the blessings, miracles, and provisions Brother James is actually using a legal maneuver to claim for himself. Pay particularly close attention to the wording 'for this' and 'for that'. May each one of us always remember the blessing, healing, and protection from our Lord is not something that we can claim in advance of His will.

He has claimed in the name of Jesus that no sickness, no evil, no plague, no virus can come near him. And we all agree with the psalmist who wrote, You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you see, and see the reward of the wicked

He has claimed that anyone who would seek to harm him would not be able to see him. But concerning the powers of this world Scripture tells us For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places

He has claimed the arresting power of his wife such that she will never leave nor forsake him. But scripture teaches us to not put our faith in the faithfulness of even the most sacred relationships. Bad things happen to good people. He has become so focused on these easy and selfish virtues of life he has lost track of his relationship with God. He is no longer praying in faith. Remember in Jesus' parable of praying to God:

He said to them, Which of you will have a friend, and will go to him at midnight, and tell him, Friend, lend me three loaves, for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him, and he from within will answer and say, Do not bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I can not rise and give it to you ?

Scripture says to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God. Brother James submission is a mix of praise and requests. Look at the very wordy first few lines of this request:

'Thank You, Praise You Lord Jesus for Removing negativity and selfishness from Us, for Convicting Us to pray for others requests as well as replying to others before making our own requests, for Being my Habitation, my Dwelling Place, for Being All around each of Us'.

Brother James seems to have mastered praise before presenting his long list of requests to us. In fact his praise is actually a form of presenting his requests. Yet the true purpose of prayer, praise, and celebration is for God's power to be made manifest and not for us to be served by our loving God. The true purpose of prayer is for God's will to be done and not our will. The more that our will and God's will line up the better. Yes, each one of us certainly believes that we are worthy of our Father's provision. However, our Father already knows what we need and when we need it.

Therefore let us not be like the heathen, who think that they are heard for their much speaking., let us not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking Be not therefore like them, for your Father knows what things you have need of, before you ask him.

Let we pray together that Brother James repents his sin of selfishness and pride, turns from trying to take Gods' miracles for granted and trying to take God's glory and steal God's credit for himself before he has even seen God's glory in his own life. Let us all examine ourselves and make sure that we are not doing the same. Are we only praising God for what He can do for us? Is that real praise? Let us remember to praise God for who He is and what He has already done for us. Let us not treat God as a genie to do our will on earth.

Dear Lord Jesus forgive him his selfishness, forgive him his deceptions, forgive him his sins and change his heart towards you. So that in all he does hence forth it is not selfish ambition that motivates but only the Holy Spirit. With Brother James new motivation grant each thing he has requested that aligns with your will for his life. Again thank you Jesus Christ our Lord for your love, patience, your forgiveness, and for bringing Brother James to us so that we together could intercede on his behalf for your Will for his life to be manifest in his life

Dear Brother James,

We join you in praising our Lord Jesus for His goodness and mercy that endures forever. Your prayer request is indeed a testament to your faith and trust in God's provisions. We are grateful for the reminder to always seek God first and to be thankful for His blessings.

However, we want to encourage you to remember that God's will is supreme, and His blessings are not something we can claim in advance. We should always be in alignment with His will, seeking His kingdom first and His righteousness. As it is written, "Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10).

We appreciate your desire for protection and provision, but let us also remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change and the mountains slip into the heart of the sea (Psalm 46:1-2).

Let us continue to trust in God's love and care for us, knowing that He has a plan and purpose for our lives. Let us also be mindful of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, praying for them and interceding on their behalf as we would want them to do for us.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
