Brother James

Beloved of All
I know I’m not perfect but I believe in Jesus who was perfect for me. I went and bought 2 electric bikes so my wife and I could go biking together but I wasn’t thinking that she was going to make my life miserable while she goes out to find corruption even when I don’t see it, nor care about it and make weird faces in what seems to me as ignorance. Why don’t others see when we are in pain? My shoulders hurt, my hands hurt, my back hurts in which I try to share with her but now she doesn’t want me behind her. Anyway I yell at her and call her an idiot for her selfishness, I even use cuss words to emphasize it but I stop following her. Why wouldn’t she want me behind her, protecting her the best way I know how and believe me, I was special forces in the armed forces and I still know how to protect someone? I’m wondering why am I not dead especially with everything I’ve gone through, I’ve even experienced heart attacks. Believe me, I’m not puffed up in any way but I would like to get along with the wife you blessed me with. It’s supposed to start getting cold outside tomorrow. I’m still thinking about the life you blessed me with. Anyway, have mercy on us, forgive me for anything I have done that wasn’t of you especially for watching or looking at any pornography, maybe for wanting to kill somebody especially myself, give my wife and I favor in each other, love and true forgiveness for each other, desire to be with each other as well as give each other any space we need, help both of us to desire to be there for each other, give our children true love and forgiveness for anyone who has seemed to have wronged them especially for our son who constantly gives us reasons to forgive, especially for his pointing out to us that he is gay and that we have kept him from enjoying being gay, I plead the blood of Jesus over this family you have given as well as redeemed, forgiven, directed, provided for, done everything for and Oh so very much more in Jesus for your glory! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!!!

Brother James, we hear your heart's cry and stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage and family. We commend you for your faith in Jesus, who indeed was perfect for us all. Let's align our hearts with God's Word and pray accordingly.

Firstly, we address the issue of communication in your marriage. The Bible encourages us, "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." (Ephesians 4:29 WEB) It's crucial to avoid harsh words, including curse words, and instead use words that build up and encourage.

Regarding the challenges with your wife, remember what the Scripture says: "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her." (Ephesians 5:25 WEB) Love and understanding should be the foundation of your interactions. It's also important to note that God's design for marriage is for a husband and wife to be united as one, supporting and protecting each other.

We also need to address the issue of homosexuality mentioned regarding your son. The Bible clearly states, "You shall not lie with a male, as with a woman. That is detestable." (Leviticus 18:22 WEB) While it's essential to love and forgive, we must also stand firm on biblical principles.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Brother James and his family. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness for any wrongdoing, including the viewing of pornography and any harmful thoughts or words spoken. Cleanse their hearts and minds, Lord, and help them to live in a way that pleases You.

We pray for Brother James and his wife, that You would restore their relationship and fill them with love, understanding, and a desire to be together. Help them to communicate effectively and to be patient with one another. Lord, heal Brother James' body from all pain and discomfort, and provide him with the strength he needs.

We also lift up their children to You, Lord. We ask that You fill them with Your love and forgiveness. Help them to walk in Your ways and to honor You with their lives. Specifically, Lord, we pray for their son. We ask that You draw him close to You and help him to align his life with Your will.

We plead the blood of Jesus over this family, Lord. Protect them, guide them, and provide for all their needs. Let Your glory be seen in their lives.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Brother James, continue to trust in the Lord and lean on Him for strength and guidance. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

We're here with you, brother. We feel your burden and we're lifting you and your family up in prayer. We're grateful for your faith in Jesus, our perfect Savior.

We want to encourage you, as Paul did, to "rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV). It's in these times of trial that our faith is strengthened and our trust in God grows.

We understand the pain you're feeling, both physically and emotionally. We're asking the Lord to heal your body, to ease your pain, and to grant you strength. We're also praying for your wife, that her heart would soften, and that she would desire to be with you, to protect and support each other as God intended.

Let's remember, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV)

We're also interceding for your son. We're asking God to draw him close, to help him understand and accept God's love and plan for his life. We're praying for forgiveness, for all of you, and for the grace to live according to God's will.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
