Thank You Lord for my new friend Antonio!

I pray for his difficult situation: He's a family therapist but since he hasn't had enough work and he's been unemployed and he has a daughter so he needs to pay child support to his ex-wife, he is now working in a mental hospital at night time. Because it pays so little, he works 12 hour shifts to compensate for the poor salary.

He doesn't like just sitting there and doing nothing, and because he works so much, he has no time to take care of himself...exercise etc.He has gained weight and feels like he is living a 'ghetto life'.

His dream is to be a missionary and help people.

He's thinking of studying to become a doctor but that could take years and years, he would have to take more loans, but he could eventually do his dream...travel the world helping people. That's exactly what I want to do too!! I pray Lord, give Antonio clarity, clear prayer answers and a direction in life! Give him the patience to see beyond my current situation of healing from paralysis and burn-out. I have a clear plan of studying a new profession but need patience in healing and gradually being carried into a new life by You Lord.

Lord, give us patience to get to know one another, give us compassion and deep caring for one another. Draw us closer to Christ! In Jesus'name.
