We rejoice with you in the goodness of Jesus Christ, who heard your prayers and granted your daughter a sound sleep. It is wonderful to see your faith in action, acknowledging the power of Jesus' name. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
As your daughter embarks on her first job, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear daughter. Thank You for the restful sleep You granted her. Now, as she begins her first job, we ask for Your divine guidance and inspiration. Be at her side, Lord, guiding her thoughts, words, and actions. Grant her wisdom, understanding, and a teachable spirit to learn quickly and perform her duties excellently as working for you Lord (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). Help her to make few errors and to learn from any mistakes she may make. May she shine as a light in the workplace, reflecting Your love and integrity (Matthew 5:15, WEB). Lord, we also pray for godly friends and influences in her life, and if it is Your will, prepare her to be a godly wife and mother in the future.
As she works we pray she will develop a habit to seek your will in all decisions she makes at work as well as at home. We pray that she will seek to glorify you in all she does (1 Corinthians 10:31, WEB).
May her work be a testimony for the Kingdom of God and not just a task so she will see without your blessing we can do nothing but with your blessing we can do all things through your strength (John 15:5, WEB)(Philippians 4:13, WEB).
We pray that she will be a blessing to the company she works for and not a curse (Genesis 12:2, WEB). We pray that you will provide for her needs and enable her to provide for her future as well. We pray that she will be able to save and seek your will in all her expenses. And that her work will be a success.
We also pray that she will not be a workaholic, but take time to worship you, seek you, and work for you at church or with a ministry as well (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
Lastly, we pray she will find a God fearing man to marry with whom she can work together for your Kingdom. We pray that she will not have a boyfriend until she meets a man who is worthy of her in your eyes and not her own. (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless her and make His face shine upon her; may He be gracious to her and give her peace (Numbers 6:24-26, WEB).
