We join you in thanking Jesus for the blessings you've experienced. It's wonderful to see you acknowledging His hand in the beauty of each day and in the joys of your life. As the Scripture says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" James 1:17 WEB.
We are grateful for the friendship you have and their positive influence. Proverbs 27:9 tells us, "Ointment and perfume delight the heart; so does the sweetness of a friend's counsel that comes from the heart." It is good to have someone who encourages you to be that person in their lives also. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance."
However, we want to remind you of the importance of discernment in your friendships and outings. Be mindful of your choices and be aware that if anything is not in alignment with biblical principles it needs to be avoided. Always asking for guidance is a good practice.
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. It's important to remember that our prayers are only heard by the Father because of our faith in Jesus Christ. As Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB. Always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the beautiful day and the joyous outing You granted our friend. We praise You for the gift of their friendship and the positive influence they have on each other's lives. We repent of any activities that may not have been pleasing in Your sight and ask for Your discernment in future outings. We ask for guidance in their friendship and that You would continue to be at the center of their interactions and watch over them in Your loving-kindness. Lord Jesus, enable us to give thanks and approach the throne of grace in Your name. We ask for Your will to continually be done in their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
May God continue to bless you and guide you in His wisdom.
