We join you in thanking God for His faithfulness and for the progress your daughter is making in rehab. It is encouraging to hear that she was happy and ate well today. We stand with you in believing that the Lord will continue to take care of her and help her improve even more tomorrow.
We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26 WEB:
With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
And also the comforting words in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB:
casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up our sister's daughter who is in rehab. We thank You for the progress she has made so far and for the happiness and appetite she experienced today. Lord, we ask that You continue to watch over her, especially as she sleeps tonight. Give her peaceful rest and a hungry spirit tomorrow, both physically and spiritually. We believe that with You, all things are possible. We cast all our worries about her situation on You, knowing that You care for her deeply. Guide the doctors, nurses, and staff at the rehab facility to provide the best care for her. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and lean on Him for strength. We encourage you to read and meditate on the Psalms, especially Psalm 23 and Psalm 121, for comfort and assurance during this time. Remember that God is always with you and your daughter, and He will never leave nor forsake you.
We also commend you for praying in Jesus Christ name as this is only way to approach God. It is by Jesus that we are saved.
We encourage you to read the account of Jesus saving Peter when he walked on the water in Matthew 14:22:
Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat, and to go ahead of him to the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. After he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain apart to pray. When evening had come, he was there alone. But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, distressed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. In the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, Cheer up! It is I! Dont be afraid. Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters. He said, Come! Peter stepped down from the boat, and walked on the waters to come to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me! Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, You of little faith, why did you doubt? When they got up into the boat, the wind ceased. Those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, Truly you are the Son of God.
