We join you, Regiah, in thanking God for His unfailing love and watchful care over us. It is wonderful to see your heart for others and your desire for healing, peace, strength, and help for every soul in need. We stand with you in prayer for these things, trusting that God hears our prayers and acts according to His will.
We also intercede for our government leaders and those across the world, asking God to unite them and guide them to do what is right and just for all people. We are reminded of 1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB:
"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
We give all glory, honor, and praise to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. It is in His holy and mighty name that we pray, for it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
We are also encouraged by your holiday wishes to all. As we celebrate, let us remember the true reason for the season: the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Let us continue to encourage one another and build each other up, as 1 Thessalonians 5:11 WEB instructs us:
"Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
As we pray for those in need, let us also remember to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we are saved. As you go to God in prayer consider discussing or reflecting on the salvation message to be sout through prayer.
"if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB.
For there is no other name by which we can be saved but the name of Jesus.
