We are glad to hear that your inspection went well and that you were able to join your friend's gathering. It's important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and He has a plan for each of our lives.
Regarding the young man who was previously interested in you, it's clear that he is not the one God has intended for you. It's natural to feel disappointed, but we should not dwell on these feelings. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB). God has someone better in store for you, a godly spouse who will honor and cherish you as Christ does the church.
"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB).
It's also crucial to remember that our emotions should not dictate our actions. "Let your gentleness show in your treatment of all people. The Lord is near." Philippians 4:5 (WEB).
We also note that you mentioned feeling lost in work, relationships, and life. Remember, God's word tells us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB).
We rejoice with you that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ. There is power in the name of Jesus. It is only by his name we can approach God. If you believe in Jesus Christ and call upon his name for salvation, you shall be saved. As God's word tells us "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13 (WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our sister in Christ. We thank you for your faithfulness in her life, and we ask that you continue to guide her steps. Lord, we ask that you heal her heart from any disappointment or bitterness. Help her to trust in your timing and to wait patiently for the spouse you have prepared for her.
We ask for your guidance and comfort as she navigates her work, relationships, and life. Give her wisdom and discernment, and help her to keep her eyes fixed on you.
In Jesus' name, we cast any delayed blessings to the pits of hell. We claim your promises over her life and ask that you would bless her abundantly.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
