Disciple of Prayer
Thank you for Noah, his good health, and that he is growing, and in great health, thank you God! Thank you for Mandie, a wonderful wife and Mother to my son. Thank you for the ability to work and make money. Thank you for the ability to help Mom in her times of need. Thank you for Bentley and Jasper. Thank you for AA and your spirit working through it to help me and others who struggle with addiction. Thank you for life and the beauty of nature. The friends and family you have given me in this life. Dear Father in Heaven, in Jesus name I come boldly unto the throne of grace that I may obtain mercy and find grace to help me in this great time of need according to Hebrews 4:16.(HEBREWS 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.) Dear Father, Jesus said in John 16:23, “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.” Therefore, I come before You with the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word states in Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus”. I know that in Psalm 103:19 it says, ”The Lord has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all”, therefore dear Father I would like to ask that YOUR mercy and grace prevail in the Greene County Court as the charges against me are negotiated out and sentenced before the court. As you know I am very repentive of what happened and have not drank at all since this incident. I’m so grateful that I have renewed my determination to stay sober and to grow closer to you spiritually. I need you Father, you are my strength, my hope, and the only one I have to turn to in my times of need. I believe you have forgiven me of my mistakes and that you will use this situation for your purpose. (Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”) Specifically Father, I’d like to ask that I not be taken away from my family to serve a jail or prison sentence. That somehow this matter can be worked out in a manner that allows me to continue taking care of my elderly Mother and also my dear sweet baby son Noah. He truly is a gift from you Father and I sincerely ask for your help in raising him and helping me to be a good example to him. It’s so important to me that he gets to know you and finds salvation for his own life. My precious little boy Noah, thank you dear Father for giving me a wonderful little son such as him! Again dear God, I plead with you that I be allowed to stay with my family and not be sent to jail or prison. I also would like to remain free to fight prostate cancer as well. Psalm 68:6 God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land. Psalm 146:7 Who executes justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free. Hebrews 8:12 “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Dear Father, your word also states in Mark 11:24 that “whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Therefore on this day, I believe my petition before you is met. And now I offer praise and thanksgiving because 1 John 5:14-15 says, “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” So therefore, Father, I thank you now even before I can see it. I believe my need is met. I sincerely thank you for it in the name of Jesus, Amen.
