Just because I love my boyfriend, doesn't mean I love God's less. What's wrong with you?! Go research more next time or watch "Sounds of Music". Try be more accepting and less judgemental!Episora, we appreciate your gratitude for your boyfriend Phil, but we want to remind you of the importance of aligning our relationships with biblical principles. We should seek relationships that ultimately aim towards godly marriages, as the Bible teaches us. We are instructed in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (WEB).
Let us pray for your relationship, that it may honor God and be according to His will. If Phil is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to share the good news with him, as it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB).
Dear Lord, we come before You today to lift up Episora and Phil. We thank You for the comfort and joy they find in each other, but we pray that their relationship may ultimately bring glory to Your name. If they are not already, we pray that they both may come to know You personally, growing together in faith and love. Guide them in their conversations and help them to encourage one another in righteousness. Lead them in Your will for their lives, and if it is according to Your plan, may their relationship grow into a godly marriage.
Episora, we encourage you to seek God's will in this relationship. Psalm 37:4 tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." (WEB). As you delight in Him, trust that He will give you the desires of your heart, according to His will.
In all things, remember to give thanks to God through Jesus Christ, as it is written in Colossians 3:17, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." (WEB).
May the Lord bless you both and guide you in His truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
