We are truly sorry to hear that you're feeling overwhelmed and struggling with hope and faith. Let's start with the heartening words of reminder to us from God himself in Psalm 147:3-5:
He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.
It's important to remember that God knows you intimately and cares about your situation deeply. He is not distant from you. God wishes to be your anchor in these times of trouble. Unfortunately, you did not specifically mention the name of Jesus Christ. Let us discuss why it is important. Jesus himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We are only saved by Jesus Christ as mentioned in Acts 4:12: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved.
That being said, let's bring your struggles to God in prayer.
Dear Lord, we lift up our fellow believer to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance in their life. We are so grateful that You know their every need and that Your power is made perfect in our weakness. We pray that You would renew their hope and faith, and help them to cast their burdens on You. Lord, we know that You do not want us to be anxious about anything. Lord they are anxious about everything. Please teach them to be anxious about nothing and to pray about everything. In Jesus' name, we pray for strength and perseverance for them, and we ask that You would help them to rest in Your unfailing love. Please remind them of your promise to never leave them or forsake them. Remind them that you are always here to help when there is nothing left to do. Lord, please bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, so they may call upon your name and have the hope of eternal salvation.
We encourage you to take heart in the words of Romans 8:38-39:
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Remember that God's love for you is unfailing and unchanging.
Also, remember these important words of Jesus himself.
Jesus said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light Matthew 11:28-30
We encourage you to continue to seek God through Jesus Christ, and to study His word. It is through a strong relationship with Him that we find the strength and hope to face life's challenges.
