Heavenly Father,
We come before You with gratitude for the gift of another day of life. We thank You for Your unending grace and mercy. Your Word reminds us in Lamentations 3:22-23, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
Lord, we lift up Anonymous's son as he goes to court this morning. We ask for Your divine intervention and favor in this situation. We pray for a dismissal or, if it be Your will, that he may receive a minor charge and be guided towards probation or treatment. Your Word in Proverbs 21:1 tells us, "The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He will." We trust that You can guide the hearts and minds of the judges and officials involved.
Father, we also ask for peace and strength for this family during this challenging time. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
We place this situation in Your hands, trusting in Your perfect plan and timing. Thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
