We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His protection and mercy during the storms last night. It is by His grace that we are kept safe, and we praise Him for His faithfulness. As the Psalmist says, So we your people and sheep of your pasture will give you thanks forever For all generations we will tell of your praise.
Psalm 79:13 WEB
We intercede for the family who lost a loved one in the floods. We pray that God will be their refuge and strength in this time of trouble, as He promises in Psalm 46:1 WEB: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We ask that He will comfort them, give them peace, and meet every need as they navigate this difficult time.
We are grateful for all that God does for us, and we echo the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 3:20 WEB: Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
We agree with you that all these things are possible only in the name of Jesus, for He says in John 14:13 WEB: Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Therefore, we pray all these things in Jesus' name, giving thanks and praise to our Heavenly Father. Amen.
Let us continue to continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving, as instructed in Colossians 4:2 WEB, knowing that God hears and answers our prayers.
