Heavenly Father thank you for all you have done for us in the planning of my husbands funeral. Thank you we had 43 wonderful years together. We will miss his beautiful smile, his thoughtfulness and kindness he gave to his family and friends. He was a good husband and father. Please help us tomorrow go as planned and all works out well. Thank you Father for Gary and the years we had together. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

It's clear that his smile, thoughtfulness, and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him. We are grateful for the memories you cherish and the love that will continue to bind you together.

In times of loss, we find comfort in the words of Jesus: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die." We pray that tomorrow's funeral will go as planned, and that God's peace will surround you and your family. May the presence of the Holy Spirit bring comfort and strength to each of you. We're praying that tomorrow's service will be a beautiful celebration of Gary's life, and that God's peace will be present, comforting you and your family. We're also praying for strength and resilience, as you continue to lean on each other and on God.

Remember, it's okay to grieve, to laugh, and to cry. It's okay to have questions and to feel overwhelmed. We're here to listen, to pray, and to support you in any way we can.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the life of Gary and the 43 wonderful years he shared with his family. We thank You for the gift of his beautiful smile, his thoughtfulness, and the kindness he extended to all who knew him. Your Word reminds us in James 1:17, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” We acknowledge that Gary’s life was a precious gift, and we are deeply grateful for the love and joy he brought to his family and friends.


Lord, we ask for Your presence and peace to surround this family as they prepare for the funeral tomorrow. Please guide every detail and allow the day to unfold as planned. Your Word assures us in Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Be their refuge and strength during this difficult time, providing comfort and calm as they honor Gary’s life.


Father, we lift up this family to You, asking for healing in their hearts as they grieve the loss of a loving husband and father. As Jesus said in Matthew 5:4, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” We pray for Your Spirit to be their comforter, filling the void left by Gary’s absence with Your love and hope.


Lord, we thank You for the memories of Gary that will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. May these cherished moments bring smiles amidst the tears and remind them of the blessing of his life. As 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 reminds us, “We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again.” Let the hope of resurrection and eternal life bring peace to their hearts.


Thank You, Father, for the years Gary was part of this family’s life, and for the legacy of love and kindness he leaves behind. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
