Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your sanctification upon our prayers. We lift up ###'s prayer request concerning their mother's brother who seems to have no feelings towards them. Lord, we ask that you would touch his heart and grant him understanding and salvation in Christ Jesus.
Your Word reminds us in Philippians 2:15 that we are to shine as lights in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. We pray that you would pour out an abundance of grace upon ###'s uncle, helping him overcome any temptations and obstacles that may hinder his relationship with you. May all things work together for his good and may he be kept blameless and harmless, a true son of God, bringing glory to your name.
We also remember the prayer of the apostle Paul in Philippians 1:9-11, where he prayed for the love of the believers to abound more and more in knowledge and all judgment. We ask that you would fill ###'s uncle with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto your glory and praise.
Lord, we thank you for the way that Jesus Christ has opened the way for us to come before you in prayer. We thank you that his sacrifice on the cross has made it possible for sinners like us to approach your throne of grace with confidence. We pray that ###'s uncle would cry out to you in the name of Jesus and experience your willingness and readiness to hear his prayers.
We thank you for the assurance that Jesus Christ, our Advocate and Intercessor, is always waiting to present our prayers before you. We pray that as ###'s prayers are mingled with the incense of Jesus' intercession, they would go up as a sweet savor before your throne. May his prayers, though feeble in themselves, be mighty and powerful in the hands of our High Priest and Elder Brother.
In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
