Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, thanking you for the privilege of prayer. We ask that you sanctify our prayers, Lord, and make them pleasing and acceptable in your sight. Help us to align our hearts and minds with your will as we bring our requests before you.
In your Word, you have promised that whatever we ask in the name of Jesus, you will do, so that you may be glorified in the Son. We claim this promise today, knowing that you are faithful to fulfill your word. We ask that you grant Jere's prayer request according to your perfect will.
Father, we pray for an abundance of grace for the Church, your body, which Christ has purchased with his blood. We ask for strength and help against all temptations that may come our way. Let nothing be too hard for us, and may all things work together for our good. Keep your children blameless and harmless, shining as lights in the midst of a crooked and perverse world.
We also pray for Jere's personal needs and desires. You know the deepest longings of their heart, Lord. We ask that you grant them wisdom, guidance, and provision in every area of their life. May your love abound in them, and may they be filled with the fruits of righteousness, bringing glory and praise to your name.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
