Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your sanctification upon our prayers. We thank you for the privilege of prayer and for the assurance that when we pray in the name of Jesus, you hear us. Your Word reminds us that whatever we ask in Jesus' name, you will do, so that you may be glorified in the Son.
Father, we ask that you sanctify our prayers, purifying our motives and aligning them with your will. Help us to pray without ceasing, continuously seeking your guidance and wisdom. May our prayers be a sweet fragrance before your throne, mingled with the intercession of our Advocate and Intercessor, Jesus Christ.
We thank you, Lord, for the way you have opened the way for us to approach you boldly through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. We are grateful that your holiness and justice need not frighten us or keep us back, for we can cry out to you in the name of Jesus and find you on the throne of grace, ready to hear us.
Father, we ask that you empower our prayers with the authority of Jesus' name. May our prayers be effective in bringing about your purposes and glorifying you. Help us to remember the words of Jesus, that if we ask anything in his name, he will do it. Strengthen our faith to believe in the power of prayer and to trust in your faithfulness to answer.
We lift up Jere's prayer request to you, Father, and ask that you grant their heart's desires according to your perfect will. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
