Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. Your Word tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." We are thankful for Jere's heart of thanksgiving and desire for sanctification in prayer.
Lord, we ask that You sanctify this prayer, setting it apart for Your holy purpose. In Hebrews 10:22, it says, "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water." Cleanse our hearts and minds, Father, that we may approach Your throne with purity and sincerity.
We pray for Your guidance and wisdom, as it is written in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Grant us the wisdom to understand Your will and the strength to follow it.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
