Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jere's prayer request for their mother's brother, Phillip. Lord, we acknowledge that the enemy has a hold on Phillip's life, but we know that nothing is impossible for you. Your Word says in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
Father, we ask that you break the chains of darkness that bind Phillip and release him from the grip of the enemy. We pray for his deliverance and freedom from any demonic influence. Your Word assures us in James 4:7 that when we submit ourselves to you and resist the devil, he will flee from us.
We pray that you would open Phillip's eyes to see the truth of your love and the power of your salvation. May your Holy Spirit convict his heart and draw him closer to you. We declare Romans 10:9 over Phillip's life, that if he confesses with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in his heart that you raised him from the dead, he will be saved.
Father, we also pray for comfort and strength for Jere and their family as they intercede for Phillip. May they find peace in knowing that you are in control and that you hear their prayers. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to you, and your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We thank you, Father, for your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus. We trust in your power to bring transformation and restoration to Phillip's life. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
