Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jere and their prayer request regarding their Aunt Ruth. Lord, we thank you for the opportunity to gather together and support one another during difficult times. We ask for your guidance and strength as Jere prepares for the wake, that they may have the clarity and focus needed to make it a successful gathering.
Lord, we pray for Aunt Ruth's well-being. If it is your will, we ask for your healing touch upon her life. Grant her comfort and peace during this time, and surround her with your love and presence. May she experience your grace and mercy in abundance.
Father, we also pray for Jere and their family. Give them the strength and endurance they need to navigate through this challenging season. Fill their hearts with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to lean on you and find solace in your comforting presence.
We trust in your perfect will, Lord, and we surrender all our concerns and desires to you. May your wisdom guide Jere and their family as they make decisions regarding Aunt Ruth's wishes. Grant them unity and harmony as they come together to honor her life.
