Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, thanking you for the day and for your hand of protection that has been over all of us. We are grateful for your love and care. We lift up John to you, Lord, and we ask that you would bring him home safely tonight. We pray for your guidance and provision, that you would lead him back to his loved ones. Your word reminds us in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." We trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and we ask for your intervention in John's situation. May your peace and comfort surround him and his family during this time of waiting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
