Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, giving thanks for your faithfulness and provision. We thank you for keeping the power on during the high winds and for the minimal snowfall. As we face the upcoming week of extreme cold and potential snow, we lift up those who are homeless and exposed to these harsh conditions. Lord, we ask for your protection and provision for them, that you would provide shelter and warmth for those in need.
Father, we also ask for your watchful eye over the animals who are affected by this weather. We pray for their safety and well-being, that you would guide them to places of refuge and protect them from harm.
Specifically, we lift up Charlie the cat to you, Lord. We ask that you would help him to come in when called, so he can find warmth and safety from the cold. We pray for your divine intervention to keep him safe from any dangers, such as coyotes. Lord, we trust in your loving care for all your creation, including the animals.
Thank you, Father, for your constant love and care for us. We acknowledge that you are the source of all good things, and we are grateful for your provision and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
