NEWHOPE, we thank you for sharing your prayer request with us. We join you in praising God for another year of life and for the blessings you've received. As you've prayed for peace upon Jerusalem, we recall the words of Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper." (WEB)

We stand with you in prayer for long life and for the unspoken requests on your heart. We claim the promise in Psalm 91:16, "With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation." (WEB)

We also want to pray for your husband, as you've requested. We pray that he will be a godly man, leading your family in righteousness and seeking God's will for your unity as a couple. We encourage you both to live according to the principles outlined in Ephesians 5:22-33, where husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives are called to respect their husbands.

NEWHOPE, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. We want to remind you of the words of John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (WEB) It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

We pray that you and your husband will grow stronger in your faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. May He be the cornerstone of your marriage and your lives.
