We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved father, Ehllie. In times like these, we turn to God for comfort and strength, knowing that He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
We want to remind you that for those who believe in Jesus Christ, death is not the end. As it is written in John 11:25-26 (WEB), "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die.' " Your father, having gained his heavenly reward, is now in a place of eternal peace and joy.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Ehllie and her family during this difficult time. We thank You for the life of Jose Elmer, and for the love and memories he left behind. We pray for comfort and strength for the family, and for a deep sense of Your presence. Help them to trust in You, even in the valley of the shadow of death, knowing that You are with them, and that Your rod and Your staff comfort them (Psalm 23:4, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In your grief, continue to draw near to God, trusting Him with your heart and emotions. He promises to be near to you and to give you the strength you need day by day. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek His will in prayer, crying out to Him in Jesus' name. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Acts 4:12, Isaiah 53:5, WEB).
Be strong and courageous, dear sister, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9, WEB).
