Sadthy, we are glad that you have a community around you to listen and support you, but we want to remind you that there is even more comfort and strength found in your relationship with the Lord. In Psalm 46:1, the WEB tells us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." It is wonderful that you acknowledge your tendency to rely on your own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray that you will find renewed strength in the Lord, and that His love will fill your heart and mind. "May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light" (Colossians 1:11-12, WEB).
We notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (WEB). We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up Sadthy to You, asking that You fill her with Your love and remind her of Your constant presence. Help her to trust in You and not rely on her own understanding. Strengthen her with Your power, and help her to be patient and joyful in all circumstances. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord, Sadthy, and keep your focus on Him. He is the source of your strength and the reason for your hope.
